Drywall Hanger (Traveling Position)

We are seeking a skilled, highly motivated Drywall Hanger who takes immense pride in structural accuracy and technical precision to join our high-performance field team.

Please Note: This is a 100% travel position. You will be expected to be on-site at various project locations across our service area for the duration of each assignment.

To support you while on the road, we provide company-provided lodging and a $50 daily per diem.

Job Responsibilities

• Precision Installation: Execute the installation of gypsum wallboard and specialty panels on commercial projects, ensuring every sheet is hung to Trimerge’s "gold standard."

• Structural Layout: Interpret blueprints and shop drawings to accurately layout wall systems and ensure perfect alignment for following trades.

• Technical Execution: Expertly measure, cut, and fit panels around electrical outlets, plumbing, and architectural features with minimal waste.

• Framing Synergy: Work seamlessly with metal and wood framing systems, identifying and correcting framing discrepancies before hanging begins.

• Safety & Logistics: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhere to OSHA safety protocols, ensuring a culture of total site safety.

Job Qualifications

• Travel Commitment: Willingness and ability to travel 100% of the time is a firm requirement.

• Proven Expertise: Extensive experience in commercial drywall hanging, including high walls, soffits, and complex architectural layouts.

• Technical Mastery: Proficiency in reading commercial blueprints and using all industry-standard hand and power tools (screw guns, routers, lifts).

• Operational Skills: Strong background in heavy-gauge and light-gauge metal framing is a significant plus.

• Safety Excellence: OSHA 10 certification required; deep knowledge of job site safety is essential.

• Physical Agility: Must be in excellent physical condition, capable of lifting heavy panels and working from scaffolding or lifts.
